what if I started every convo with “wanna be friends?” and “a little TMI BUT”… sarcasm and jokes are my love language. I consider your kids my bosses, they run the show. cool ranch doritos are life. I believe nothing should be too serious or perfect. my most fav sessions ever photographed have come from the vibes - smell in the air, light across your face, breeze in your dress -
it's unpredictable yet exciting.
this year, my focus has been to help families "let go" of the perfect smiling portrait and embrace more of the art their family can create together. a way to take the stress out of getting family photos done.
I am also the studio co-owner of a beautiful rentable loft-style space located in
Downtown Detroit near the river.

Crystal is the BEST! She did my maternity photos, my sons newborn session and a family generation pictures! Every single time my daughter would be challenging I’d think but she caught such beautiful pictures of her smiling and having fun. Crystal is honestly a gem and I recommend her to all my friends and family when they ask for a photographer! We will definitely be using her in the future. She’s also a person you’re just very comfortable around and feel like you can be yourself! Thank you Crystal for the beautiful family photos!!

Always the best of experiences with Crystal. She has shot my family numerous times and I will never not recommend her services. She creates the most incredible images, even when you think all hope is lost!
